Product Description
Petrokem Clear Sealer W/B® is a high quality two component, non toxic, epoxy sealer specially developed to meet the increasing demand for high quality floor sealer/hardener. The product is designed to be applied on concrete and cement floors and once applied will protect the floor and will act as a high quality floor hardener and prevents floor from dusting and minimize wearing. It is recommended as a sealer/hardener and provide a clear coating for the protection and maintenance of concrete, cement and many other surfaces. The product is also recommended as a decorative protective coating over emulsion painted surfaces. The product once fully cured is resistant to most chemicals and will act as a tough, transparent, glass like protective coating over the painted surface. It could be washed with soap and water to remove dirt marks to regain the original surface finish.
Product Application
- Mix thoroughly equal volumes of Petrokem Clear Sealer W/B resin and hardener.( i.e. one volume of resin to one volume of hardener) Five minutes of thorough mixing is recommended. Then gradually add 3-6 volumes of water while stirring to thin the product to a suitable viscosity. Use the mixture within 1-2 hours.
- Mix the above components thoroughly for five minutes Then add water gradually ( 4 parts by volume or suitable volume of water) and mix to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Apply the mixture to the surface by using a suitable equipment ( spray, brush /roller). The product should absorb to the concrete or cement surface for the best results. If the diluted product is not penetrating to the surface then make arrangement to dilute the product to suit the requirement. Allow the sealer to dry at least for 24 hrs before using the surface. Another coat could be applied after 8 hrs if required. The coating will gain its full toughness in 72 hrs.
